Teresa Blanco acquired the realization that the light of art shines within all our souls. Yet as human beings we decide, at moments in our lives, usually the most inopportune, to abandon ourselves to this feeling in order to be able to interpret life through its coded beauty and transmit it to our fellow human beings. It is an act of love in this case rewarded through its amplification. Truly love can liberate humankind, art also frees us from ourselves. For that art is the most demanding on our ties. It is the medium in which we express our facility to be individuals, to be unique, we put ourselves in front of the mirror of our works and it judges us, in the manner of a child.
If we are humble, attentive and intelligent, we can not help but take count of its recriminations.
The artist has the right and the obligation to express the multiple facets that comprise his personality, his contradictions, and express them in a language that most truthfully reflects him.
Avoiding simple and trivial language without creating temptation to want to be accepted by everyone, the artist has the obligation with humanity to be a visionary in his time, opening paths and showing them to the world.
